* Due to the many allergies in our school, the entire 3rd grade has made the decision to not have birthday celebrations. Each child will be recognized on their special day. We have a nut free classroom. As a 3rd grade team our classes collaborate a great deal and we want to maintain a safe environment for every student. No food will be allowed in the classroom, with the exception of holiday parties, where food must be completely nut free and labels will be checked.
* Birthday invitations are prohibited unless there is one for every student in the class. There is a phone tree that can be signed and used to touch base with other parents about invites or get togethers.
