My name is Laurel Cerone.  I will be your child's second grade teacher.  I am looking forward to working with you and your child.  Together we will all have a wonderful year!  

I have been in the Frontier School District since 1991.  I taught fourth grade for twelve years and fifth grade for sixteen years.  I have always heard that second graders were the most amazing aged children, so when a position  opened up, I took it!  This is my fourth year teaching second grade.

I have been married for twenty-nine years to my husband.  We met when we were nineteen years old at SUNY Geneseo.  Together we have two children.  Our son is a counselor at the Frontier High School and our daughter will graduate with her Master's Degree in Social Work this spring.  Every challenge that you are facing with your young child, we have experienced too.  The more we love our children, the more they will learn to love themselves! 

I love learning new things and trying something challenging along the way.  As the year progresses, please contact me with any questions or concerns.  We are all trying to do our very best for the child we are sharing this year.  My goal is for your child to love school, embrace challenges, try new things and smile.
